SYNOPSIS VIA GOODREADS:
Nikki Kill does not see the world like everyone else. In her eyes, happiness is pink, sadness is a mixture of brown and green, and lies are gray. Thanks to a rare phenomenon called synesthesia, Nikki’s senses overlap, in a way that both comforts and overwhelms her.
Always an outsider, just one ‘D’ shy of flunking out, Nikki’s life is on the fast track to nowhere until the night a mysterious call lights her phone up bright orange—the color of emergencies. It’s the local hospital. They need Nikki to identify a Jane Doe who is barely hanging on to life after a horrible attack.
The victim is Peyton Hollis, a popular girl from Nikki’s school who Nikki hardly knows. One thing is clear: Someone wants Peyton dead. But why? And why was Nikki’s cell the only number in Peyton’s phone?
As she tries to decipher the strange kaleidoscope of clues, Nikki finds herself thrust into the dark, glittering world of the ultra-rich Hollis family, and drawn towards Peyton’s handsome, never-do-well older brother Dru. While Nikki’s colors seem to help her unravel the puzzle, what she can’t see is that she may be falling into a trap. The only truth she can be sure of is that death is a deep, pulsing crimson.
MY BOOK REVIEW
If you are look for a book with suspense, a little romance, intrigue, and HOLY COW! This book is for you. I was captivated right from the start of the book in how the author starts the book. She hooks you right in and keeps you guessing throughout the book as to how this puzzle is going to fit together.
Nikki Kill is an amazing main character of the book. She has some mad fighting skills and investigative skills as well. Nikki also has a condition known synesthesia, which I really had a hard time understanding at the beginning, but the author goes on to explain it wonderfully and how it also ties into this story. This was a great page turner and a highly recommended read. I give it four out of four “tape recorders”. See Rating system HERE!!!

Cara Michal works as a analyst for Dubois & Mellan (D&M) on Wall Street and is a workaholic. Because of her father’s past, Cara is taking care of her mom and elder brother, who has treatment-resistant schizophrenia, and is living in an assisted living facility paid by Cara.
Cara is persuaded by her best friend to go to a company party to let lose for a little while. Cara goes with an obtuse co-worker and to clear her head, wanders upstairs to escape the party. Ultimately, Cara falls asleep on a stranger’s coach, only to be woken up by a man, who has her body, aching, begging, and screaming for in all the right places. Especially, after a hot, steamy passionate kiss.
Upon leaving the party, Cara is captured on camera as being romantically involved with the owner of the home, Branden Duke.
It is then revealed that Branden Duke is the new owner of D&M and Cara’s new boss.
Once Cara finds this out, she does everything in her power to keep her attraction to her boss in check, but Cara can only do so much as Branden is also equally attracted to Cara. Both of them try to keep it professional.
Branden Duke, is a self-made rich, sexy, single, business man with a reputation to go with it. But, he also has a very caring heart as he takes care of his sisters, as his mother has a few issues. He also has some secrets of his own that affect his relationship with Cara and his newly acquired business. Branden brings on some new employees to D&M to aid in the transition. A new office manager, Mike Gaunt and Deena Raj, which Cara is not very found of.
Finally, things between Branden and Cara finally go from hot to DAMN HOT! The sex scenes between Branden and Cara are very very impassioned.
Just when you think this is all about sex, someone is out to get Branden and Cara.
This mystery person will not stop until Branden and/or Cara are dead. This extra twist in the book just added to the storyline, and made the book even better.
Will Branden and Cara live to figure out whose out to get them before it is to late? Is Branden and/or Cara’s past part of this mystery? Will their romance even survive? You’ll have to read the book to find out.
Filthy Rich will be available on October 27, 2015 and is available on Amazon for pre-order here.

Thank you to Random House and NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Again, the author is very honest in the beginning of the book that you must read the trilogy in order as she does not summarize the first or second book in the third book. Hey, it’s a trilogy that how it is supposed to be read.
So, I picked up this book last night to start to read a few chapters, but I COULD NOT put it down, and I finished the whole book into the late night hours. So, if this review does not make sense, I apologize, because I am currently suffering from a book hangover.
Okay, lady, just get to the review, already! Alright, alright, stop screaming at me! Voices, do I hear voices?
So, in book number three, we are back with Grayson and Trent on Melton Manor continuing on with their romance and daily lives. Suddenly, Trent and Cavendish are summoned to their work headquarters. Trent and Cavendish return to the Manor with two agents.
The two agents are interested in Grayson’s past life and mysterious item they received addressed to Grayson that was sent to corporate headquarters in her name.
With the trouble from book two still brewing, something bad is about to happen, but will Grayson and Trent be able to survive it?
Thicker Than Water is the perfect ending to this trilogy. It was full of twists, turns, surprises, and answers! I admit, I cried at the end of this book as it was such an emotionally charged book.
If you remember the ending of the TV show, Friends, you were sorry to see it end but you knew it was okay because all is as it should be. That is how this book was for me.
I give it four out of four “Zaffys”! (See Rating System here.) This is one of my all time favorite trilogies and I highly recommend it.
Special thanks to the author, Georgia Rose, for allowing me to review this book for free in exchange for an honest review. My reviews are based on my opinions of the book and are my opinions alone.
