I rate on a one to four scale. Everyone has different tastes and different things they look for in a book that they read, and it is just my opinion and not Gospel. I try to use something unique from each book to draw readers into reading the book.
A rating of ONE-The book was below average. It did not hold my interest and it was a struggle for me to even finish it.
A rating of TWO-The book was average. I was able to read it, enjoyed it, and felt like it was an overall good reading experience.
A rating of THREE– The book was above average. I connected with the characters and I didn’t the book to end and/or I didn’t want to put it down.
A rating of FOUR– The book was phenomenal. The author’s writing was exceptional and I felt something emotional after I finished reading it.
