My Review of One Chance Night by Eliza Boyd

This is a throw back review that I did in June before I started my blog. I wanted to give Eliza Boyd some recognition for her great book. So, drumroll, please………..

I absolutely loved this book!!! I couldn’t put it down and read it on one setting. This book involves Chelsea, who is in a miserable marriage, who goes out one night and meets, Brett. Chelsea and Brett have a night together, which changes everything in Chelsea and changes are made in her life.

I could totally relate to what Chelsea was going through in her marriage and how she didn’t realize that she was a victim of emotional abuse. The one part that I did struggle with was her actions with Brett the first time they meet and how irresponsible she was being along with her friends, and how she put herself in such a potential dangerous situation. Now I know this is just a book but it does concern me for others that read this and believe that behavior is okay and put themselves in harm way especially in this day and age, but I digress.

With that being said, I truly loved the book. I loved that Chelsea took the time to fix her own issues and not have a man there to immediately magically pick up the pieces. I also liked the fact that there was a same sex couple in the book as well.

I can’t wait for Two Pink Lines. Thanks to Eliza Boyd, Patchwork Press, and NetGalley for the opportunity to review this book as I was given a free copy in exchange for an honest review.
